"سنیے!
آپ ذرا زین سے پوچھیں تو سہی کہ وہ کہاں پہنچا؟ کتنا وقت اور لگے گا؟"
سدرہ
بیگم نے لاؤنج میں بے چینی سے چکر کاٹتے ہوئے اونچی آواز میں کہا۔ ان کے چہرے پر ممتا
کی تڑپ اور پانچ سال کا انتظار صاف جھلک رہا تھا۔
"ارے
بیگم! تھوڑا صبر کرو، آ جائے گا تمہارا لاڈلا۔ اب کیا وہ اڑ کر آئے گا؟"
سکندر
صاحب نے صوفے پر اطمینان سے بیٹھے ہوئے اخبار سے نظریں ہٹا کر مسکرا کر جواب دیا۔ اگرچہ
وہ خود کو پرسکون دکھا رہے تھے، لیکن ان کی آنکھوں کی چمک بتا رہی تھی کہ وہ بھی اپنے
بیٹے کے لیے کتنے پرجوش ہیں۔
"صبر
کیسے کروں؟ پانچ سال... پانچ سال کم نہیں ہوتے۔ میرا بچہ اتنے وقت بعد گھر آ رہا ہے
اور آپ کو آرام سے اخبار پڑھنے کی سوجھی ہے!"
سدرہ
بیگم نے تھوڑا چڑ کر کہا تو سکندر صاحب ہنسا۔ ان دونوں کی خوشی کا آج کوئی ٹھکانہ نہیں
تھا۔ ان کا وہ بیٹا واپس آ رہا تھا جو اس گھر کی رونق بھی تھا اور غرور بھی۔

"یار!
دیکھنا یہ لندن پلٹ بھائی کیسے ہمیں ڈراتے ہیں۔ آج ان کا استقبال ہم اپنے طریقے سے
کریں گے،" حمزہ نے ایک ہاتھ میں نمک دانی اور دوسرے میں کالی مرچ پکڑتے ہوئے شرارتی
لہجے میں کہا۔
"حمزہ!
یہ ٹھیک نہیں ہوگا۔ اگر پتا چل گیا تو وہ ہمیں کچا چبا جائیں گے،" گُل نین نے
ڈرتے ہوئے کہا، لیکن اس کی آنکھوں میں بھی شرارت چمک رہی تھی۔
"ارے
کچھ نہیں ہوتا گُل! بس تھوڑا سا 'مصالحہ' ہی تو ڈالنا ہے۔ دانیال! جلدی سے وہ لال مرچوں
والا سوس لاؤ،" دانیال نے کچن کی الماری سے ایک بوتل نکالی جس پر لکھا تھا 'Extra
Hot Chilli Sauce'۔
ان
تینوں نے مل کر زین کے لیے بنائے گئے خاص سوپ میں نمک، کالی مرچ اور وہ تیکھا سوس اتنی
مقدار میں ڈال دیا کہ وہ سوپ نہیں بلکہ "ایٹم بم" بن گیا۔
"اب
آئے گا مزہ! جب ہیلٹر ایک چمچ پیئیں گے اور ان کے کانوں سے دھواں نکلے گا،" دانیال
نے ہنستے ہوئے کہا۔
وہ
تینوں دبے قدموں سوپ کا باؤل لے کر ڈائننگ ٹیبل پر پہنچے جہاں زین، سکندر صاحب اور
سدرہ بیگم بیٹھے تھے۔
"زین
بھائی! یہ آپ کے لیے خاص سوپ، آپ کو لندن میں ایسا دیسی سوپ کہاں ملا ہوگا،" حمزہ
نے بیحد معصومیت سے باؤل زین کے سامنے رکھا۔
