بس، ایک لفظ —نہ جذبات، نہ وضاحت۔لیکن زِمل
جانتی تھی…یہ لفظ کسی عام شخص کا نہیں تھا۔اُس نے فون کے کی
بورڈ پر انگلی رکھی…اور بغیر کسی تاثر کے، صرف ایک سوالیہ نشان "؟"بھیج
دیا۔
جیسے وہ کہہ رہی ہو:"اتنا وقت لگا صرف
یہی کہنے میں؟یہ صرف ایک سوالیہ نشان نہیں تھا —یہ زِمل بیگ کا انداز تھا پوچھنے
کا:
’ہاں یا ناں؟‘نہ جھجک تھی، نہ التجا —بس ایک خاموش حکم…کہ اب جواب
دو۔
شاہمیر ولی خان نے اسکرین پر وہ سوالیہ
نشان دیکھا…چھوٹا سا نشان،مگر دل کی سطح پر جیسے ایک گہرا ارتعاش۔وہ چند لمحے فون
کی اسکرین کو دیکھتا رہا —چہرے پر وہی گہرا ٹھہراؤ، مگر اندر کہیں ایک ہلکی سی تپش تھی،جو شاید زِمل بیگ کے سوالیہ نشان
سے زیادہ اپنے جذبات کے دیر سے جاگنے پر شرمندگی سی
تھی۔
اُس نے آہستگی سے سانس لی،اور وہ الفاظ
چُنے —جو نہ بےقرار تھے، نہ جھکے ہوئے،
نہ وضاحت مانگتے تھے، نہ جواز پیش کرتے
تھے۔بس سلیقے سے، وقار کے کینوس پر لکھے جانے والے تھے۔
"اگر آپ کو مناسب لگے…تو میں کل آپ سے کچھ دیر کی ملاقات
چاہوں گا —کیا آپ وقت نکال سکیں گی؟"یہ جملہ سیدھا دل سے نکلا تھا —اور وہ
دل، جو برسوں سے بند پڑا تھا،آج پہلی بار خود کو کسی کے سامنے رکھنے کی خواہش
رکھتا تھا۔
نہ اُس نے گِلہ کیا،نہ شکوہ،نہ کوئی جذباتی
وضاحت دی…بس ایک سادہ سا سوال —مگر لہجے میں وہی تہذیب، وہی وقار،جو شاہمیر ولی
خان کا طرزِ بیان تھا۔خاموش، مگر حاوی۔نرم، مگر مکمل۔یہ وہ انداز تھا —جس میں
الفاظ دباؤ نہیں ڈالتے تھے،
بس سامنے والے کے دل کا در کھٹکھٹاتے تھے۔سلیقے
سے رکھا گیا یہ ایک جملہ،جس میں فیصلہ زِمل کے ہاتھ تھا،اور خواہش… شاہمیر کے دل
کی تہہ میں دبی ہوئی۔ "ٹھیک ہے۔"زِمل کا جواب مختصر تھا —
نہ جذبات سے لبریز، نہ ضد سے خالی —بس ایک
سیدھا، سادہ سا لفظ…
