آواز پر وہ چونکی پر مڑ کر اسکی جانب دیکھا نہیں

بن گئی تو اسے مگ میں ڈال کر اسکے سامنے پیش کردیا

کھنکھارتے اس شخص نے چائے کا مگ تھاما اور ایک قدم اسکے قریب بڑھا گیا
"سوری
ہانی مجھے اس طرح سے بات نہیں کرنی چاہیے"
اسکا
ایک جملہ جیسے سب کچھ بھلا گیا
اور
وہ لڑکی موم کی طرح بگھل گئی
"لائیں
یہ مجھے دیں"
گلے
کی خراش کو دور کیے اسنے مگ تھامنا چاہا جس کے باعث وہ حیرت سے اسکی جانب دیکھنے لگا
"کیوں"
"چائے
ٹھنڈی ہوگئی ہوگی"
"کیا
ہوگیا ہے ابھی تو چولہے سے اتاری ہے"

اڑاتی چائے کو دیکھتے ہوئے وہ مزید حیران ہوا

ایک منٹ میں چائے ٹھنڈی ہوگئی

مجھے لگ رہا ہے میں نے چینی کے بجائے نمک ملا دیا"

جیسے رونے کی تیاری میں لگ گئی

سے جواب دیے وہ اپنے کمرے کی جانب چلا گیا

ہوگیا کے ہانیہ اسے واپس کیوں لینا چاہ رہی تھی

پہلی بار ہوا تھا کے اسنے اپنی چائے مکمل نہیں پی تھی

میں کھڑی ہانیہ اور اپنے کمرے میں بیٹھا عفان دونوں ہی افسوس کی زد میں تھے
اسے
عفان درانی کی چائے بگاڑنے کا افسوس تھا
اور
اسے ہانیہ درانی سے معافی مانگنے کا افسوس تھا
