"عثمان!"
آمنہ مچھلیوں میں مگن کھوئے ہوئے لہجے میں بولی۔ "ہماری زندگی کتنی خوبصورت ہو
گئی ہے ناں؟"
"کیوں؟
پہلے سے ہی خوبصورت ہے۔" عثمان نے حیرت سے جواب دیا۔
"نہیں
، اب ہوئی ہے خوبصورت۔" آمنہ بچوں کے طرح بولی۔
عثمان
نے اس کے بال کان کے پیچھے کیے۔
"اچھا
جناب! آپ کو کیسے لگا اب خوبصورت ہوئی ہے۔"
آمنہ
سیدھی ہو کر بیٹھی۔
"دیکھیں
نا، پہلے میرے لیے بہت کچھ مشکل تھا۔ آپ لوگ سب میرے لیے بالکل نئے تھے۔ مجھے ڈر لگتا
تھا۔ اب سب سمجھ گئے کہ میں اچھی ہوں مجھ سے ڈرنے کی ضرورت نہیں ہے۔ اور آپ لوگ بھی
مجھے اپنے گھر والے لگنے لگ گئے ہیں۔ اس لیے مجھے اب یہاں مزہ بھی آ رہا ہے۔ کیونکہ
مجھے یہ نہیں لگ رہا کہ میں کسی اجنبی شخص کے ساتھ یہاں موجود ہوں۔ جو میرا نہیں سوچے
گا، صرف اپنے گھر والوں کا سوچے گا۔ ایسا لگ رہا ہے جیسے میں کسی انتہائی اپنے شخص
کے ساتھ موجود ہوں۔"
عثمان
توجہ سے اس کی ساری بات سن رہا تھا۔
"ٹھیک
کہہ رہی ہو۔ ایک دوسرے کو سمجھنے میں تھوڑا وقت لگ جاتا ہے۔ لیکن اب دیکھو جب تمہیں
پتہ چل گیا ہے کہ ہم لوگ اچھے ہیں تو وعدہ کرو اب تم کبھی بھی نہیں ڈرو گی، اور کبھی
بھی نہیں گھبراؤ گی۔"
