" کس۔۔کو کون۔۔کس کو پکڑا؟". سوال کرنے کے بعد تھرتھراتے لبوں پر زبان پھیری۔ پھر شہریار کی طرف دیکھا جو الجھن زدہ مسلسل اپنی ماں کا ستا ہوا چہرہ دیکھ رہا تھا۔
" آ۔۔اچھا۔۔ ا۔۔م۔۔میں ۔۔آرہی ہوں۔۔" خود کو کمپوز کرنے کی ناکام کوشش کرتی وہ فون بند کر چکی تھیں۔۔۔
" ماں۔۔کیا ہوا ؟؟ آر یو اوکے ؟" شہریار اٹھ کر اُن کے پاس آیا تھا۔
" جی۔۔جی ۔بس ایک فرینڈ کے ہاں ایمرجنسی ہوگئی ہے مجھے جانا ہوگا ۔۔تم ڈنر کرلینا اوکے۔۔۔" ایک ہی سانس میں کہتیں۔۔۔وہ مستعدی سے سیڑھیاں عبور کرتیں اپنے کمرے کی طرف گئیں تھیں۔۔

کو نارمل نہیں کرسکی تھیں ۔۔وہ کافی دیر وہیں کھڑا رہا جہاں سے ابھی کچھ لمحے قبل اس
کی ماں سیڑھیوں کی طرف بڑھی تھیں پھر ملازمہ نے اس کے کندھے پر ہاتھ رکھا تھا اور اسے
اپنے ساتھ لگائے کھانے کی میز کی طرف بڑھ گئی تھی۔آج اسے تنہا ہی رات کا کھانا کھانا
تھا۔
