کہانی دو لڑکیوں کے گرد گھومتی ہے۔ ایک لڑکی کا نام نورالعین ہے، جو بااخلاق اور حساس طبیعت کی مالک ہے۔
ابتداء
میں اس کا کزن اسے محبت کے جال میں پھنسانے کی کوشش کرتا ہے، صرف اپنی ایک ذاتی شرط
کو پورا کرنے کے لیے۔ لیکن نورالعین وقت سے پہلے ہی سب کچھ سمجھ جاتی ہے اور اس گیم
سے خود کو الگ کر لیتی ہے۔
بعد
میں اس کی شادی اس کے گھر والوں کی پسند سے ہو جاتی ہے۔ جس شخص سے اس کی شادی ہوتی
ہے، وہ پہلے سے ہی ذہنی دباؤ کا شکار ہوتا ہے اور شادی کے آغاز میں نورالعین سے اچھا

کی کوشش کرتی ہے، لیکن عزاء اپنی ضد اور من مانی پر قائم رہتی ہے، جس کا نتیجہ ان دونوں
کی زندگیوں میں بھاری پڑتا ہے۔
