آنکھیں پٹپٹا کر انھیں ہی دیکھ رہی تھی)

نجمہ بھابی یہ بس ان کے ساتھ کھیلنا چاہ رہی ہے ( زبیدہ آفاق سامنے بیٹھے بچوں کے ٹولوں
کو دیکھتی اپنی ننھی سی ڈیڈھ پری کو ساتھ لگاتی ہو ئی بولیں)

نہیں چاہ رہی یہ ان کے کھلونوں کو اٹھا اٹھا کر پھینک رہی ہے۔۔۔۔۔۔( نجمہ غصے سے بولیں)

کو اپنے اندر اتارتی دونوں ہاتھوں سے چہرہ رگڑ کر گہرا سانس لیتی وجی کے سامنے کھڑی
ہوںٔی۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔

کمال آپ میری۔۔۔۔ اذیتوں ۔۔۔میری ماں کے آنسوؤں۔۔۔۔میرے گزرے دس سالوں میں بہتے ہر
ہر آنسوؤں کی وجہ ہیں ۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔
( وہ بول رہی تھی اور وجی سانس روکے اسے سن رہا تھا)

دلآویز اس وقت سنگدلی کی اس حد پہ تھی جہاں سے وجی کی زندگی کا اختتام ہوا اور وہ ویران سا بے بس وجود لیے اسکے الفاظ خود کے اندر اتارتا گیا۔
