"مشعل…"
اُس کی آواز میں لرزش تھی… وقت کی دیوار میں پہلی دراڑ۔
مشعل
نے چونک کر دیکھا۔ آنکھیں کچھ لمحے ٹھہر گئیں۔ پھر وہ بولی — ہونٹ کپکپاتے ہوئے:
"حمزہ؟"
حمزہ
نے نظریں جھکا لیں۔ "پتا ہے، میں دیر سے آیا ہوں… بہت دیر۔ مگر شاید دیر ہی میری
قسمت تھی۔ تمہارے بغیر سب ادھورا تھا، مشعل۔"
مشعل
کھڑی ہوئی، مگر اُس کے قدم جیسے زمین سے جُڑ گئے تھے۔ اُس کے اندر کئی سالوں کے جذبات
لبوں تک آ کر جم گئے۔
"میں
تمہیں صرف تمہاری آواز سے جانتا تھا۔" حمزہ کی آواز بھی ٹوٹ رہی تھی۔ "لیکن
اُس آواز میں جو درد چھپا ہوتا تھا… وہ کبھی مجھ سے چھپا نہیں۔ اور آج جب تم میرے سامنے
ہو… مجھے یقین آ گیا، میں غلط نہیں تھا۔ تمہاری خاموشی… بولتی ہے، مشعل۔ بہت کچھ بولتی
ہے۔"
مشعل
کے آنسو لبوں سے پہلے بہہ نکلے۔
حمزہ
آگے بڑھا، آہستہ سے۔ "میں تمہیں لینے آیا ہوں۔ صرف یہ بتانے کہ تم نے مجھے جس
خاموشی میں تھاما… اُس کے بدلے میں زندگی بھر کا شکر گزار ہوں۔"
مشعل
کی آنکھوں میں خواب لرز رہے تھے۔ حمزہ کی نگاہوں میں سوال… مگر اُن سب کے بیچ ایک امید
تھی — سب کچھ ٹھیک ہو سکتا ہے، ان شاء اللہ۔
مگر
اُس لمحے، جب سب قریب لگنے لگا… مشعل نے آہستہ سے قدم پیچھے ہٹایا۔
"حمزہ..."
وہ بولی، مگر آواز رُک گئی۔ اُس نے نگاہیں چرا لیں — جیسے اگر دیکھ لیا، تو اندر کا
سچ سب کچھ ظاہر کر دے گا۔
حمزہ
خاموش رہا — وہ خاموشی جو اب شور بن چکی تھی۔
"یہ
خاموشی میرے لیے قید ہے، حمزہ… سزا ہے۔ ہر دن، ہر رات ایک نئی اذیت۔"
حمزہ
نے قدم بڑھایا، مگر مشعل کی لرزتی آواز نے اُسے روک دیا۔
"مجھے

ہے..." لفظ ادا کرتے ہی اُس کے چہرے پر جیسے برسوں کا بوجھ اتر
گیا۔
"یہ
سن کر لوگ یا تو نظریں چرا لیتے ہیں… یا ترس سے دیکھتے ہیں… اور تب فاصلے اور بڑھ جاتے
ہیں۔"
