" تم نے میری بہن کو کیا کہا تھا میرے بارے میں؟" اسامہ نے اسے زور دار تھپڑ رسید کیا۔ 

" میں نے کچھ بھی تو نہیں کہا۔" 

" تو میری بہن جھوٹ بول رہی ہے؟ میں تمہیں نفسیاتی لگتا ہوں؟ تم نے اسے یہ کیوں کہا ہے کہ میں نے تمہیں مارا ہے۔" 

" میں کیوں کہوں گی جب آپ ان کی باتوں میں آ کر دوبارہ مجھے ماریں گے۔" 

اسامہ نے اسے بالوں سے پکڑ کر جھٹکا دیا اور الٹے ہاتھ کا تھپڑ مارا۔ وہ زمین پر جا گری۔ 

اسامہ نے یہیں بس نہیں کی تھی۔ اس نے اسے لاتوں اور ٹھڈوں کی نوک پر رکھ لیا۔ 

وہ درد سے بلبلاتی رہی۔ 

وہ مار کھاتے کھاتے نیم مردہ حالت تھی لیکن اسامہ نہیں رکا تھا۔ 

" اوئے اسامہ بس کر دے مر جائے گی۔" کمرے کے باہر سے تماشا سنتی شاہدہ بیگم کو جب اس کی آوازیں آنا بند ہوئیں تو کمرے میں دوڑی آئیں۔ 

" اماں یہ زارا کو کہتی ہے میں اسے مارتا ہوں غصہ کرتا ہوں۔" اسامہ نے ایک لات مارتے ہوئے کہا۔ 

" دو اور لگانی تھی جھوٹ بولتی ہے۔" شاہدہ بیگم اس بات کو نظر انداز کیے کہ وہ ابھی بھی یہی کر رہا تھا۔ 

" میں اس کے ساتھ مزید نہیں رہ سکتا۔" اس نے اسے بالوں سے کھینچ کر اٹھایا۔ 

" کیا کر رہا ہے؟" شاہدہ بیگم نے اس کو اس کے ساتھ گھسٹتا دیکھا تو پوچھ بیٹھیں۔ 

" میں اس کنگال کے ساتھ نہیں رہ سکتا۔ جان چھڑا رہا ہوں۔" 

اسامہ نے اس کے بےجان وجود کو گاڑی میں پٹخا اور ڈرائیونگ سیٹ سنبھال لی۔ 

گاڑی ہوا سے باتیں کر رہی تھی۔ جو کہ اسامہ کے اشتعال کو ظاہر کر رہا تھا۔ 

اسامہ گھر سے بہت دور گاڑی لے آیا تھا۔ 

اسامہ نے جیب سے چاقو نکالا۔ 

" اب وقت آ گیا ہے کہ تیری اس منحوس شکل سے چھٹکارا پا لیا جائے۔" اسامہ نے موڑ کاٹتے ہوئے اس کے پیٹ میں بے رحمی سے وار کیا۔ 

نوال کی دل دہلا دینے والی چیخیں گونجیں۔ 

" میں اسامہ پورے ہوش و حواس میں تمہیں نوال مختار طلاق دیتا ہوں۔" چاقو کا دوسرا وار بھی کر دیا۔ 

اسامہ نے چلتی گاڑی سے طلاق دیتے ساتھ اسے دھکا مار کر پھینک دیا۔ 

اس کی تیز رفتار گاڑی لمحوں میں غائب ہو گئی۔
