نہیں۔۔۔ خود کو اس کے سامنے اتنا مت گراؤ۔" وہ اس بار نرم لہجے میں اس کے ہاتھ
کو نرمی سے دبا کر بولی تھی۔
"زمل
تمہیں محبت ہو گی تو تب پتہ چلے گا کہ محبت میں ہمیں کتنا جھکنا پڑتا ہے۔ محبت میں
'میں' نہیں ہوتی۔" وہ بھیگی سانس خارج کرتے ہوئے کہہ رہی تھی۔ اس کے مضمحل چہرے
پر زمانوں کی اداسی اور تھکان تھی۔
"میں
جانتی ہوں، مجھے محبت ہو ہی نہیں سکتی۔ میری لائف میں محبت کی کوئی گنجائش نہیں۔ میں
ایسی فضولیات پر یقین ہی نہیں رکھتی۔" وہ گراؤنڈ میں لگے پودوں کو دیکھتی سنجیدگی
سے کہہ رہی تھی۔
"کسی
سے محبت کرنے میں صرف ایک لمحہ لگتا ہے۔۔۔ یا شاید اس سے بھی کم۔۔۔ اور جانتی ہو بس

میں ہم ہزاروں بار جیتے ہیں اور ہزاروں بار مرتے ہیں۔" زوبیہ نے دلسوز انداز میں
کہا تھا۔

نے نگاہیں دوبارہ اس کی طرف پھیریں، پھر سنجیدگی سے مسکرائی۔
"واٹ
ایور۔۔۔ تم جو بھی کہو میں تمہاری اس فلسفی آف محبت کو ماننے کے لیے تیار نہیں، کیونکہ
میرے لیے محبت سے زیادہ اہم چیزیں ہیں زندگی میں۔ میرے نزدیک مرد میں وفاداری ہونا
ضروری ہے۔ مرد اگر وفا کرتا ہے تو عورت اپنی آخری سانس تک اس کا ساتھ نبھاتی ہے۔۔۔
خیر، چھوڑو۔۔۔" اس نے ہاتھ جھاڑتے ہوئے جیسے بات ختم کرنے کی کوشش کی تھی۔
"تم
ٹھیک کہہ رہی ہو۔ وفا اور محبت لازم و ملزوم ہیں۔" زوبیہ نے پھیکی سی مسکراہٹ
کے ساتھ کہا۔
"عورت محبت کرتی ہے تو اپنا سب کچھ داؤ پر لگا دیتی ہے۔ کسی انجام کی پرواہ نہیں کرتی۔ محبت کا کھیل شروع ہوتا ہے تو عورت ہمیشہ فاتح ٹھہرتی ہے۔ عورت اپنی آخری سانس تک محبت کرتی ہے۔ لیکن عورت جس سے محبت کرتی ہے اسے پہچاننے میں ہمیشہ مات کھا جاتی ہے۔" اس نے آخر پر کچھ تلخ لہجے میں کہا تھا۔
