میں شام کی ہلکی ہوائیں چل رہی تھیں۔پرندے اپنے گھروں کو لوٹ رہے تھے۔ تمام کاروباری
لوگ اپنی دکانیں بند کرنے کے بعد اور بعض لوگ دفتروں سے واپس گھر کی طرف روانہ ہورہے
تھے۔ایسے میں بخاری ہاؤس میں بھی رونق لگی تھی۔
"منحہ!بیٹا،
آبھی جاؤ افطار کا وقت ہونے والا ہے۔" بُرہان صاحب نے اپنی لاڈلی بیٹی کو آواز
دی۔رمضان کے بابرکت مہینے کے آخری دن چل رہے تھے۔جہاں سب کو بابرکت مہینے کے گزر جانے
کا غم، وہیں سب کو عید کی خوشی تھی۔
"یہ
آگئے گرما گرم پکوڑے۔" منحہ نے پلیٹ میں پڑے تازہ پکوڑے ڈائنگ ٹیبل پر رکھتے ہوۓ
کہا اور اپنی کرسی سنبھالی۔ میز پراور بھی انواواقسام کے پھل، کھجوریں اور پاکستان
کی آن بان شان میٹھا "جام شیریں" بھی پڑا تھا۔
"واہ
بھئ! آج آپ نے یہ عنایت کیوں بخشی ہمیں؟ " اُن کا اشارہ صاف پکوڑوں کی طرف تھا۔
اس وقت منحہ کی امی،ابو اور وہ خود افطار کے لیے روز کے معمول کے مطابق بیٹھے تھے۔
"بابا
آپ بھی؟"وہ خاصہ بُرا مان گئ۔منحہ نے ہلکے نیلے رنگ کی شلوار قمیض پر خوبصورتی
سے سر کو سفید رنگ کے ڈوپٹے سے ڈھکا ہو تھا۔
"اچھا
بھئ مذاق کر رہا تھا۔ چلو دعا شروع کرو،اذانیں غالباً شروع ہو گئ ہیں۔"سب نے نہایت
پرسکون ماحول میں افطار کیا اور نماز کے لیے اُٹھ گۓ۔
