بیٹھی حسرت سے انہیں دیکھا کرتی تھی یعنی ساری ریاضتیں ضائع گئی تھیں ۔
کِھلکھلانے کی عمر میں آنسو چھپائے رکھنا ، باپ کے سرد
رویے پر بھی صبر کرنا ، اور جب معاملہ آیا، اُس کے نصیب کاتو وہ کیسے چپ رہتی ۔
وہ
جو اپنی دعاؤں میں نیک اور صالح ہمسفر مانگتی تھی پھر کیسے وہ ایسے انسان سے شادی
کر لیتی جو خود کی حالت نہیں سنوار سکتا تھا وہ کیسے اُس کا خیال کرتا۔
تب اُس نے آواز اٹھائی بھی ، تو بدلے میں کیا ملا ،
باغی کہلانا ، مردہ اولاد؟
آخر
بیٹیاں ہی کیوں؟
بیٹیاں تو رحمت ہوتی ہیں نا ، پھر کیوں انہیں بوجھ
سمجھا جاتا ہے؟
