"السلام علیکم، میری جان... کیا کر رہی ہو؟" اسد کی نرم آواز سنائی دی۔
"وعلیکم السلام... پیپر کی تیاری کر رہی ہوں۔" یمنا نے کتاب پر نظریں جمائے جواب دیا۔
اسد ہلکا سا ہنسا۔
"اتنا پڑھ کر کیا کرنا ہے؟"
"اچھے مارکس لینے ہیں۔ ۔"
"اچھا جی؟" اسد نے محبت بھرے لہجے میں کہا۔
میری جان، تمھارے اچھے مارکس میرے لیے خوشی کی بات ہیں، مگر خود کو زیادہ مت تھکایا کرو۔"
یمنا بےاختیار مسکرا دی۔
"آپ میری اتنی فکر کیوں کرتے ہیں؟"
اسد ہلکا سا ہنسا۔
"اس بات کا جواب تمہیں پھر کبھی فرصت سے دوں گا۔"
"اب میں پڑھ لوں؟"یمنا نے ہلکی سی آواز میں کہا۔
"جی ضرور… لیکن ایک شرط پر۔"
"کون سی شرط؟"
"پیپر ختم ہوتے ہی سب سے پہلے مجھے کال کرو گی۔"
جی
جناب، ایسا ہی ہو گا"۔"
"بس اب دل لگا کر پڑھنا، اور اپنا بہت خیال
رکھنا۔"
اس کی باتوں نے نہ جانے کیوں یمنا کے دل کا بوجھ ہلکا کر دیا۔
کال
