’’کبھی
کبھی انسان سب سے زیادہ بات اسی وقت کرنا چاہتا ہے جب اسے ڈر ہو کہ کوئی اسے سمجھ
نہیں پائے گا۔‘‘
اریبہ
نے نظریں جھکا لیں۔
’’دادی،
مجھے لگتا ہے میں اپنی ہی زندگی میں کہیں کھو گئی ہوں۔‘‘
دادی
نے نرمی سے جواب دیا:
’’تو
پہلے رکنا سیکھو۔ جو دل ہر وقت دنیا کے پیچھے بھاگتا رہے، اسے اپنی آواز سنائی نہیں
دیتی۔‘‘
وہ
جملہ اریبہ کے اندر کہیں ٹھہر گیا۔
اس
کی زندگی بظاہر بالکل معمول کے مطابق تھی۔ صبح دفتر، دن بھر کام، دوستوں سے باتیں،
موبائل پر گھنٹوں دوسروں کی زندگی دیکھنا، پھر رات کو اپنے کمرے میں خاموشی۔
لیکن
خاموشی میں آتے ہی وہی سوال واپس آ جاتا:
’’میں
خوش کیوں نہیں ہوں؟‘‘
ایک
شام دفتر سے واپس آئی تو دادی حلیمہ صحن میں بیٹھی سبزیاں کاٹ رہی تھیں۔ اریبہ
خاموشی سے ان کے پاس آ کر بیٹھ گئی۔
دادی
نے اس کے چہرے کو دیکھا اور بولیں:
’’آج
پھر دل کہیں اور تھا تمہارا؟‘‘
اریبہ
نے دھیرے سے کہا:
’’پتا
نہیں دادی، نماز پڑھتی ہوں، سب کرتی ہوں، مگر اندر سے وہ سکون نہیں ملتا جس کی
مجھے تلاش ہے۔‘‘
دادی
نے سبزی ایک طرف رکھی۔
’’کبھی
کبھی عبادت چھوڑنے کی نہیں، عبادت میں اپنا دل واپس لانے کی ضرورت ہوتی ہے۔ اللہ
سے صرف مانگو نہیں، کبھی خاموش بیٹھ کر اسے اپنا حال بھی سنایا کرو۔‘‘
