میر ،زایان مراد کا دل تھی۔ زایان خود کو لاکھ روکتا، ڈپٹتا، نظریں چراتا، دلکش سے
دور رہنے کی کوشش کرتا لیکن وہ دلکش کا واحد دوست تھا اور دلکش اسے کسی صورت خود
سے دور نہیں رہنے دیتی تھی۔ اس کے ہنسی مذاق میں چھپی شرارتیں، زایان کو ایک لمحے
کو ہنسا دیتیں، اور اگلے لمحے بے چین کر دیتیں۔
کبھی
وہ اس کی معصوم شرارتوں پر مسکرا دیتا، اور کبھی اپنے ہی خیالات سے گھبرا کر نظریں
پھیر لیتا۔
دلکش
میر اب وہ بچی نہیں رہی تھی جسے اس نے گود میں کھلایا تھا۔ اب وہ محبت بن کر سینے
میں دھڑکتی تھی۔ وہ جب کوئی راز لیے چپکے سے اس کے کمرے میں آتی تو دروازہ پیچھے
سے بند ہونے کی آواز، زایان کے دل کی دھڑکن کو روک دیتی تھی۔
وہ
لمحے جب دلکش اس کے پاس بیٹھ کر اپنی باتوں میں کھو جاتی، زایان صرف اسے دیکھتا رہ
جاتا۔
نہ
سرگوشیاں سنتا، نہ لفظوں کے معنی سمجھتا۔ بس اس کی پلکوں کی جنبش، آواز کا زیر و
بم، اور ہنسی کی گونج دل میں محفوظ کرتا جاتا۔
وہ
دلکش سے دل کی کشش کب ہوئی اسے اندازہ ہی نہ ہو سکا۔
گھر
کے بڑے ان کے درمیان پلتی محبت کو محسوس کر رہے تھے اور خوش تھے کہ ان کی بھی
خواہش تھی کہ زایان اور دلکش کو بیاہ دیا جائے۔
”پتہ ہے زین، تم نہ ہوتے تو میرا دل کبھی کسی سے نہ لگتا۔“ دلکش
اکثر زایان کو کہا کرتی تھی اور زایان مسکرا کر رہ جاتا۔
”تم نہ ہوتیں تو میں شاید محبت لفظ سے انجان ہوتا۔“ وہ سوچتا، پھر
خود ہی مسکرا کر سر جھٹک دیتا۔
وقت
گزرتا رہا اور زایان کی جدوجہد شدید ہوتی گئی۔ محبت بڑھتی گئی اور بے قراریاں بڑھنے
لگیں۔
ایک
طرف دماغ کی لاتعداد سوچیں تھیں اور دوسری طرف محبت کھڑی تھی۔
