حیران ہوئی۔

آپ کافی دیر سے پڑھ رہی تھیں۔"
انابیا
ہنس پڑی۔
"آپ
ہمیشہ اتنے سنجیدہ رہتے ہیں؟"
سعد
نے کرسی کھینچ کر بیٹھتے ہوئے کہا:
"اور
آپ ہمیشہ اتنا ہنستی ہیں؟"
دونوں
چند لمحوں کے لیے خاموش ہو گئے۔
پھر
پہلی بار اُن کے درمیان ایک ایسی خاموشی آئی جو عجیب نہیں لگ رہی تھی۔
دور
حارث اپنے دوستوں کے ساتھ کھڑا دونوں کو دیکھ رہا تھا۔
"لگتا
ہے ہمارے ٹاپر صاحب بدل رہے ہیں۔"
دوست
ہنسنے لگے۔
سعد
نے اُن کی طرف دیکھا مگر کچھ نہ کہا۔
انابیا
نے محسوس کیا کہ سعد دوسروں سے مختلف ہے۔
وہ
کم بولتا تھا، مگر جب بولتا تھا تو اُس کی بات سیدھی دل میں اتر جاتی تھی۔
چھٹی
کے بعد بارش شروع ہو گئی۔
کالج
کے گیٹ پر طلبہ کھڑے بارش رکنے کا انتظار کر رہے تھے۔
انابیا
بھی وہیں کھڑی تھی۔
اس
کے پاس چھتری نہیں تھی۔
سعد
چند قدم دور کھڑا تھا۔
کچھ
لمحوں بعد اُس نے اپنی چھتری انابیا کی طرف بڑھا دی۔
"آپ
لے لیں۔"
"اور
آپ؟"
"میں
چلا جاؤں گا۔"
"بارش
میں؟"
سعد
ہلکا سا مسکرایا۔
"مجھے
بارش پسند ہے۔"
انابیا
نے پہلی بار اُس کی مسکراہٹ کو غور سے دیکھا۔
وہ
بہت مختصر تھی، مگر بہت خوبصورت۔
