نور آگے ہاتھ پھیلائے کھڑی تھی: "نہیں طیبہ! میں تجھے ہرگز چھلانگ لگانے نہیں
دوں گی۔"
یہ
ان دونوں کا آپس کا 'اعتماد' تھا یا کوئی فلمی سین، مگر کمال کی بات یہ تھی کہ یہ دونوں
یہ پورا تماشا پرنسپل آفس کے بالکل سامنے لگائے کھڑی تھیں!
طیبہ
نے دوبارہ جوش دکھایا: "مانو پیچھے ہو جا میں کہہ رہی ہوں…" اور مانو کو
پیچھے دھکیلتے ہوئے اس نے ان دو سیڑھیوں سے نیچے زمین پر ایک 'ایٹمی چھلانگ' مار ہی
دی۔
ابھی
وہ نیچے اتری ہی تھی کہ اوپر کھڑی لائبہ کی نظر مس رباب پر پڑی جو اپنی کلاس سے نکل
کر ہماری کلاس کی طرف ہی آ رہی تھیں اور ہم سب راستے کے بیچوں بیچ کھڑے یہ تماشا دیکھ
رہے تھے۔ مس رباب کو دیکھتے ہی لائبہ نے شدید بوکھلاہٹ میں وہاں سے بھاگنے کی کوشش
کی، مگر وہ توازن برقرار نہ رکھ سکی اور سیدھی ہم سے آ ٹکرائی۔ لائبہ کا ٹکرانا تھا
کہ ہم سب کا پورا گروپ تاش کے پتے کی طرح ایک دوسرے کے اوپر سیدھا نیچے ماہ نور اور
طیبہ پر جا گرا!
"ہائے
مانو! میری ہڈی ٹوٹ گئی…!" طیبہ اس ڈھیر کے نیچے دبی چلائی۔
"اوئے،
میرا سر بھی نہیں بچا…!" مریم کا سر سیڑھیوں کے لوہے کے جنگلے سے جا ٹکرایا تھا
اور وہ سر پکڑ کر بیٹھ گئی تھی۔
لائبہ،
جس نے ہم سب کو گرایا تھا، اس میں ابھی بھی بھاگنے کی ہمت باقی تھی۔ وہ فوراً اٹھی
اور ہم سب کے اوپر سے پیر رکھ کر چڑھتی ہوئی، دوڑ لگا کر کلاس روم کی طرف بھاگ گئی۔
پیچھے طیبہ اور ماہ نور ابھی بھی زمین پر بیٹھی اپنا سر اور کمر سہا رہی تھیں کہ اتنے
میں مس رباب وہاں پہنچ گئیں۔ ہمیں اس حالت میں زمین پر ڈھیر دیکھا تو وہ زور سے چلائیں:
"یہاں کیا ہو رہا ہے؟"
