“تمہارا
دھیان کہاں ہے آج؟”
“کہیں
بھی نہیں… بس سر میں درد ہے۔” زِمل نے مختصر سا جواب دیا۔
اس
کا لہجہ معمول سے زیادہ خشک تھا۔
کچھ
دیر بعد عائشہ نے ہلکی سی بات کی تو زِمل بلاوجہ چڑ گئی۔
“ہر
بات کا مسئلہ بنانے کی ضرورت نہیں ہوتی عائشہ۔”
عائشہ
خاموش ہو گئی جبکہ عریشہ نے حیرت سے زِمل کو دیکھا۔ کیونکہ زِمل عام طور پر اتنے سخت
لہجے میں بات نہیں کرتی تھی
زِمل
نے خود بھی محسوس کیا کہ وہ غیر ضروری طور پر چڑچڑی ہو رہی تھی۔
اُس
نے آہستہ سے موبائل اٹھایا۔
اسکرین
اب بھی خاموش تھی۔
اور
تب پہلی بار اُس کے دل میں یہ خیال آیا کہ شاید احمد کی عادت اُس کی سوچ سے کہیں زیادہ
گہری ہو چکی تھی۔
“آج
تھوڑا مصروف تھا۔”
“آپ
کو بتانا چاہیے تھا مجھے۔”
زِمل
کے لہجے میں ہلکی سی ناراضی شامل تھی۔
چند
لمحوں بعد جواب آیا:
“مجھے
اندازہ نہیں تھا کہ میری خاموشی آپ کو اتنی محسوس ہو گی… آئندہ خیال رکھوں گا۔”
زِمل
کی انگلیاں ایک لمحے کو رُک گئیں۔
کیا
واقعی اُسے احمد کی اتنی عادت ہو چکی تھی؟
اُس
نے نظریں چرا لیں۔
تبھی
احمد کا اگلا پیغام آیا:
“مجھے
لگتا ہے ہمیں اب ایک بار face to face
بات کر لینی چاہیے۔”
زِمل
جیسے ساکت ہو گئی۔
اُس
نے کبھی احمد سے ملنے کا سوچا بھی نہیں تھا۔ دل میں عجیب سی گھبراہٹ ابھرنے لگی۔
اُس
نے جواب نہ دیا تو چند لمحوں بعد دوبارہ پیغام آیا:
“آپ
اوائیڈ کر رہی ہیں… یا مجھے غلط سمجھ رہی ہیں؟”
زِمل
نے ہونٹ بھینچ لیے۔
کیا
یہ صحیح تھا؟ یا غلط؟
اگر
وہ نہ ملی تو… کیا احمد ناراض ہو جائے گا؟
