Short Scens
She was
surrounded by people, flashes, cameras and noise. She couldn't hear anything
but the crowd was chanting her name loudly. Wearing a beautiful, branded, sky
blue attire, she looked gorgeous and confident. She was smiling, looking and
waving to the people who were there for her, just to catch a glimpse of her but
then, instantly, she had to stop. She couldn’t move from her place!
“Not again!”
She slowly murmured, her voice was shaking.
She stopped
in the middle of that red carpet which was rolling down her feet. Her eyes
stood there in one direction, towards the north where she saw something.
A figure? A
reflection? A spirit? What was it? She couldn't understand. She couldn't name
it properly. This wasn't for the first time but the shock was enough to let
others notice her strange and weird behavior in that time frame.
She was
being captured by thousands of photographers. Her each move and gesture was
being recorded in those cameras. How could a single change in her facial
expressions go unnoticed?
She was
astonished, and a little afraid of what was going to happen next. Her smile
faded and instantly, the external noise vanished from her surroundings. Only a
strange silence was present around her. Freezing silence. Cameras off. The
screen turned down. Everything went into deep darkness like the profound,
pathetic truth on her canvas of life.
