"جانتے
ہو آیان... ہر وہ شخص جو مسکراتا ہے، ضروری نہیں کہ وہ خوش بھی ہو۔"
آیان
کی نظریں زمین پر جم گئیں۔
"کبھی
کبھی لگتا ہے میں سب کچھ کھو چکا ہوں۔"
زارا
نے جواب دیا،
"نہیں...
تم نے صرف وہ لوگ کھوئے ہیں جو تمہاری قسمت میں نہیں تھے۔ خود کو مت کھونا۔"
یہ
جملہ آیان کے دل میں کہیں اتر گیا۔
واپسی
پر اس نے اپنی ڈائری کھولی اور لکھا:
"کچھ
لوگ ہماری زندگی میں ہمیشہ رہنے نہیں آتے... وہ صرف ہمیں مضبوط بنانا سکھانے آتے ہیں۔"
اور
شاید... آج اس کے سفر کا ایک نیا باب شروع ہو چکا تھا۔

صبح
معمول کے مطابق تھی، مگر آیان کے دل میں ایک عجیب بےچینی تھی۔
کل
زارا کی باتیں بار بار اس کے ذہن میں گونج رہی تھیں۔
"خود
کو مت کھونا..."
وہ
ڈائری بند کرکے باہر نکل آیا۔ راستے میں ایک چھوٹا سا کیفے تھا، جہاں وہ اکثر خاموشی
تلاش کرنے آتا تھا۔
جیسے
ہی وہ اندر داخل ہوا، ایک آواز اس کے قدم روک گئی۔
"آیان...؟"
اس
نے چونک کر پیچھے دیکھا۔
وہ
ایمان تھی...
وہی
ایمان، جو کبھی اس کی زندگی کی سب سے خوبصورت دعا تھی، اور پھر اچانک ایک نامکمل کہانی
بن گئی۔
چند
لمحے دونوں خاموش رہے۔
ایمان
نے ہلکی سی مسکراہٹ کے ساتھ کہا، "کیسے ہو؟"
آیان
کے پاس بہت سے سوال تھے... مگر جواب صرف ایک تھا۔
