او عشوہ کہاں مر گئی جلدی آ۔"
وہ
اپنے کمرے میں کھڑی میکے جانے کے لیے تیاری ہو رہی تھی، جب اس کی ساس نے اپنی
کرخت آواز میں اسے پکارا۔ وہ دوپٹہ سنبھالتی تیزی سے اپنے کمرے سے نکل کر اُن کے کمرے
کی طرف بھاگی۔
"جی
امی۔! آپ نے بلایا۔"
"کہاں
مر گئی تھی! کب سے آوازیں دے رہی ہوں تُجھے سنائی نہیں دیں۔!" رضیہ بیگم نے اسے
دیکھتے ہی غصے سے لتاڑا _وہ اپنا سا منہ لے کر رہ گئی۔ لیکن پھر ڈرتے ڈرتے بولی۔
"وہ
مم میں تیار ہو رہی تھی۔"
"کیوں
کہاں کی تیاری ہے بنو رانی۔؟" انہوں نے سنتے ہی تپ کر پوچھا۔ اُن کے ماتھے پر
بل تو اس کی تیاری دیکھتے ہی ڈھیروں بل پڑ گئے تھے۔
"وہ
مم میں امی کی طرف جا رہی ہوں۔!" اس نے ہمت مجتمع کر کے بتایا۔
"کہیں
نہیں جا رہی تم۔! دو سال ہو گئے شادی کو __ لیکن ابھی تک تیرے چونچلے ہی ختم نہیں ہو
رہے۔ ہر روز منہ اٹھا کر بھاگ جاتی ہو میکے۔" انہوں نے سامنے کھڑی تیار شیار عشوہ
کا سر تاپا جائزہ لینے کے بعد ' تیکھے لہجے میں طنز کیا۔ وہ تو اُن کے الزام پر شاکڈ
ہی رہ گئی تھی۔ کیونکہ وہ پورے تین ماہ بعد اپنے میکے جا رہی تھی۔! اس سے تو کچھ بولا
ہی نہ گیا صدمے سے__ وہ آنکھیں پھاڑے بس اُنہیں ہی دیکھے گئی۔ ان کے روز بروز بگڑتے
رویے سے وہ اچھی خاصی پریشان تھی' لیکن پھر بھی اس نے اپنے گھر والوں کو اس بارے میں
کبھی کچھ نہیں بتایا تھا۔
"جاؤ
کمرہ صاف کرو اور پھر اچھا سا کھانا بھی بنانا ' ماہم آ رہی ہے بچوں کے ساتھ۔"
انہوں نے ایک نیا حکم جاری کیا اور ٹی وی چلا کر بیٹھ گئیں۔
