کمرے
میں خاموشی پھیل گئی۔
آرہان
نے آہستہ سے کہا،
“یہ
لوگ ثبوت مٹا رہے ہیں۔”
ضویز
نے میز پر مکا مارا۔
“تو
پھر ہم ثبوت بن جائیں گے!”
اچانک
آریز کا فون بجا۔ نامعلوم نمبر۔
اس
نے کال اٹھائی۔
دوسری
طرف سے ٹھنڈی آواز آئی،
“ہیرو
بننے کا شوق ہے؟ انجام بھی ہیروز والا ہوگا… قبر میں۔ کیس واپس لے لو۔ آخری بار کہہ
رہے ہیں۔”
آریز
کے ہونٹوں پر عجیب سی مسکراہٹ آ گئی۔
“تم
نے ایک غلطی کر دی ہے…”
“کون
سی؟”
“تم
نے ہمیں ڈرانے کی کوشش کی… اور ڈر جب مر جائے نا، تو انسان خطرناک ہو جاتا ہے۔” جب
انصاف خاموش ہو تو ضمیر چیخنے لگتا ہے ۔۔

نے فون کاٹ دیا۔
کھڑکی
کے باہر بادل گرجنے لگے تھے، جیسے آسمان بھی آنے والے طوفان کا اعلان کر رہا ہو۔
آرہان
نے سب کی طرف دیکھا۔
“اب
یہ صرف انصاف کی لڑائی نہیں رہی… یہ بقا کی جنگ ہے۔”
