انسان بھٹک جائے یا اُس کا دل اور دماغ ,

 مگر زندگی کی تو ایک ہی ضد ہے کہ مجھے جئے  بغیر تم کہیں نہیں جا سکتے ,

کچھ دیر کی خاموشی کے بعد وہ نوجوان تھکی آواز میں بولا ۔

 

تو پھر زندگی کو جیا جائے , نہ کاٹا جائے اور نہ گزارا جائے بس جیوں اور جینے دُو ,

 خاتون ہلکا سا مسکرائی اور اپنے چہرے پر آئی کرلی اور سہنری بالوں کی لِٹ کو کانوں کے پیچھے کرتے ہوئے بولی ۔

 

اُس نوجوان نے کوئی جواب دیے بغیر پھر پیچھے  مڑ کر دیکھا ۔

 

آخر کیا تم پیچھے چھوڑ آئے ہو کہ بار بار پلٹ کر پیچھے دیکھ رہے ہو ؟ کیا کسی کے آنے کا انتظار ہے ؟  یا کسی کی آواز کا جو تمہیں جانے سے رُوک لیں ؟  اُس خاتون نے تجسس سے پوچھا ۔

 

لیکن اُس نوجوان نے کوئی جواب نہ دیا , بس چلتے چلتے ہی
