"معاف کردو مجھے معاف کردو میں آپکا گناہ گار ہوں میں آپکا قاتل ہوں میں اگر گولی نا چلاتا تو آپ زندہ ہوتے میں آپکو مارنا نہیں چاہتا تھا میں نہیں چاہتا تھا پر۔۔۔ پر میں مجبور تھا اگر میں گولی نا چلاتا تو آپ چلا دیتے اور ۔۔۔ اور وہ مرجاتی میں اُسے بچانے آیا تھا میں آپکو مارنا نہیں چاہتا تھا معاف کردو مجھے مت دو اتنی بڑی سزا روز روز مر رہا ہوں میں اُٹھ جاؤ یار ایک مہینہ ہوا سوۓ ہوۓ اب تو اُٹھ جاؤ اور گھر چلو آپکو پتا ہے میں نے وہ گن دیکھی تھی جو آپ نے اُس پر تانی تھی جس سے آپ اُسے مارنا چاہتے تھے وہ۔۔۔ وہ۔۔۔ وہ گن خالی تھی اُس میں گولیاں نہیں تھیں وہ خالی تھی کیوں؟ کیوں کرا آپ نے ایسا؟"
اُسکا دل پھٹ رہا تھا اُسکا دل چاہا وہ یہی ایک اور قبر کھود کر خود دفن ہوجاۓ اُسکی آنکھوں میں کرب ٹہر آیا (تم نے دیکھی ہیں کبھی کرب زدہ آنکھیں؟) اُسکا وجود چھنی چھنی ہوا (تم نے دیکھا ہے کبھی وجود کا چھنی چھنی ہونا؟) اُس نے خود کو قبر میں محسوس کرا (کیا تم نے کبھی خود کو قبر میں محسوس کرا ہے؟)
اُسے محسوس ہوا اُسکا سانس بند ہورہا ہے اُس نے اپنے سینے پر ہاتھ رکھا قبر کے نیچے گھٹنوں کے بل بیٹھا الفظ حلق میں دم توڑ گۓ سنہری آنکھوں میں آنسوں تیرنے لگے سانس کا بند ہونا موت ہوتا ہے اور وہ مرنا چاہتا تھا پر شاید اُسکے لیے موت سے بھی بدتر سزا تھی ایک دم اُسکا سانس بحال ہوا آنسو کی لڑیاں ٹوٹ کر چہرے پر بکھر گئیں اُسکا غم تازہ تھا
وہ گناہ گار تھا وہ قاتل تھا کیا دیکھا ہے تم نے کبھی کسی قاتل کو ایسے روتے ہوۓ؟ وہ کون تھا اور قبر کے اندر کون موجود تھا یہ کوئی نہیں جانتا تھا پر وہ روز قبر پر آتا روتا اور کہتا "ایک مہینہ ہوا سوۓ ہوۓ اب تو اُٹھ جاؤ اور گھر چلو" یہ روز کا معمول بن گیا تھا۔۔
