ناں کہیں وہ خود اس سب کا زمہ دار تھا وہ وہاں مزید نہیں رکا تھا کہ اسے تکلیف میں دیکھ کر دل مزید کرب میں دوبا

وہ سخت ندامت کا
شکار تھا ندامت بھی ایسی کہ خود ازیتی کی کیفیت ہو جیسے وہ واپس گھر کے لیے روانہ
ہو گیا تھا وہ اپنی سوچوں میں غرق کار ڈرائیو کر رہا تھا جب سامنے سے اَتے ٹرالر
کو نہ دیکھ سکا تھا اور اس کی کار قلا بازیاں کھاتی کھائی میں جا گری تھی
اس کے پیچھے اَتے گارڈز کی گاڑیاں ایک دم رکی تھیں اور
گارڈز باہر نکلتے بھاگ کر اس کی کار کی
طرف دوڑے تھے جہاں سے دھواں سا اٹھنے لگا تھا.
ٌباخدا میں نے وہ
سب مزاق میں کہا تھا مجھے نہیں معلوم تھا کہ قسمت تم دونوں کو ایسے آزمائے گی.
وہ اسے کندھوں سے تھام کر یقین دلاتے انداز میں
بولا.
کیا میں اتنی بری
تھی کہ اس نے مجھے چھوڑتے وقت ایک بار بھی نہیں سوچا .
وہ اس سے پوچھ رہی تھی اور اسے اس کی دماغی حالت
پر شبہ ہوا وہ اسے کہیں سے بھی نارمل نہیں
لگ رہی تھی.
وہ لاجواب ہوا اسے دیکھے گیا تھا کہ اسے اس حال
میں دیکھ کر دل دکھا تھا.
ہاں تبھی تو اس نے مجھے چھوڑ دیا.
وہ زور سے ہنس دی.
تم بھی باقی سب کی طرح میرا حال دیکھنے آئے ہو
کہ میں ذندہ ہوں یا مر گئی.
وہ ایک دم سے چیخی تھی ساتھ ہی کئی آنسو بہہ نکلے تھے
جنھیں وہ بے دردی سے ہاتھ کی پشت سے رگڑ گئی.
بتا دینا اسے مار دیا اس نے مجھے مار دیا اس نے مجھے .
وہ روتے ہوئے نیچے بیٹھتی چلی گئی تھی اور وہ
ضبط کھوتے مزید حوصلہ نا پاتے وہاں سے نکلتا چلا گیا.
