سرمایہ ساتھ لے کے ڈوبتی ہیں،انسان کوپورے کا پورا ڈبو ڈالتی ہیں۔سیاہی میں ،گہری کھائی میں۔اُس وقت نے،شہر نے،پریشان
حال قوم نے اُس کا بھی سب کچھ مٹا ڈالا تھا۔گھر،گھرانہ خاندان،پروانہ سارا کچھ ختم
کر دیا تھا۔
وہ دونوں جب گھر سے
نکلی تھیں تب سورج میاں اچھا خاصا غصے میں تھا مگر لارینس گارڈن میں پہنچنے تک کالے بادلوں کے جھنڈ آسمان پر اکٹھے ہو گئے تھے
اور نا جانے کونسی سازش انہیں وہاں جمع کر
لائی تھی۔دونوں نے گارڈن میں قدم رکھتے سر
اوپر اٹھا کر دیکھا۔چہرے کی ساری جوت بجھ گئی تھی۔
”کیا لگتا
ہے مِس عجوہ سیال۔یہ بادل برسیں گے یا پھر یونہی لوگوں کا دھیان بھٹکانے کو بس چند لمحےشرارت کریں گے۔“اس کی جاں سے عزیز تر
سہیلی نے ایزل زمین پر ٹکاتے سوال کیا جس
پر عجوہ نے سر نیچے کیا اور ۔
”نہیں۔۔۔۔میرے
تجربے کے مطابق یہ آج صرف تنگ کرنے کا مزاج رکھتے ہیں۔برسنے کا دور دور تک کوئی
ارادہ نہیں۔“اور اس نے ایزل پر کینوس کی پوزیشن درست کی اور اسے فکس کر دیا۔کمر پر
ڈالا بیگ اتارا اور اس میں سے اپنا سامان نکالنے لگ گئی۔
”ٹھیک ہے
پھر تم اپنا کام کرو مجھے یونیورسٹی سے دیر ہو رہی ہے۔میں نکلتی ہوں۔“اس کی اچھی
سہیلی نے سامان کو سنکی بینچ پر سامان ترتیب دینے میں اس کی مدد کی تھی۔اور پھر سر
پر اسکارف درست کرتے الوداعیہ ہاتھ بڑھایا۔
”شکریہ
راعنہ۔۔۔مجھے زندہ رکھنے کے لئے۔میری زندگی کا اہم حصہ بننے کا لیے۔“اور راعنہ نے
ذرا جھکتے سینے پر ہاتھ رکھا اور اس کا شکریہ قبول کیے چلی گئی۔اس کے جاتے ہی عجوہ
نے واٹر کلرز کی سکیم بنائی اور کلر پلیٹ میں رنگوں کا مکسچر بنایا۔اسے آج یہ کام کرنا
تھا۔۔۔ہر صورت میں کرنا تھا۔ورنہ راعنہ سے کیا وعدہ ٹوٹ جاتا اور راعنہ کے چلے
جانے سے زندگی جینے کی جو رتی برابر چاہ موجود
تھی وہ بھی ختم ہو جاتی۔
