فرصت یقین مانو ہمیں کچھ اور کرنے کی،

یادیں، تیری باتیں بہت مصروف رکھتی ہیں۔"

کہیں گھومنے چلیں؟" تابش جس پل گھر آیا تھا آئمہ نے اس سے فرمائش کی تھی۔

نہیں، آج میں بہت تھک چکا ہوں۔ پھر کبھی سہی۔" تابش نے ٹالتے کہا تھا۔ جب سے ان

سے وہ آج تک اسے کبھی بھی خود سے باہر نہیں لے کر گیا تھا۔

کب؟" وہ آس سے پوچھ رہی تھی۔ تابش نے بغور اسے دیکھا تھا۔ اس کی آنکھوں میں تابش
کے لیے بےپناہ محبت جھلکتی تھی۔

اینڈ پر! پرامس۔" تابش نے مسکراتے کہا تھا۔
"پکا
والا پرامس یا ایسے ہی ٹالنے کے لیے کہہ رہے ہو۔" اس نے بےیقینی سے پوچھا تھا۔
"پکا
والا پرامس۔" اس نے اس کے ہاتھ تھامتے اپنائیت بھرے لہجے سے کہا تھا۔ اور آئمہ
کھل کر مسکرا دی تھی۔

"مجھے
ارتضیٰ کی بہت یاد آ رہی ہے۔ پہلے ماہ رخ چلی گئی اب ارتضیٰ بھی چلا جائے گا۔"
ثمینہ بیگم اداسی بھرے لہجے میں اپنے شوہر سے مخاطب تھیں۔
"یاد
تو آتی ہے لیکن تم یہ بھی تو سوچو جب وہ واپس آئیں گے تو کچھ بن کر ہی آئیں گے۔ اپنے
بچوں کے بہتر مستقبل کے لیے ہمیں حال کے کڑوے گھونٹ پینے پڑیں گے ثمینہ بیگم۔"
انہوں نے بیوی کو ساتھ لگاتے دلاسہ دیا تھا۔
"ہاں
یہ تو ہے۔ بس اللہ پاک ہمیں صبر عطا کرے اور ہمارے بچوں کو اپنی حفظ و امان میں رکھے۔"
انہوں نے سچے دل سے دعا کی تھی۔
"آمین۔"
ولی حسین نے جواباً کہا تھا۔
