دیکھتی ہے کوئی شخص بیٹھا سکیچ بنا رہا ہے، اسکی اسکے طرپُشت ہے۔ اسنے دو آنکھیں بنائی
ہوئی ہیں۔ بہت خوبصورت سی آنکھیں،
دیکھتے
ہی دیکھتے وہ شخص اپنا رخ پیچھے کی طرف موڑتا ہے، جہاں یہ کھڑی ہے۔ اتنے میں وہ نیند
سے بیدار ہوتی ہے کمرے میں گھپ اندھیرا چھایا ہوا ہے اور اس کا پورا وجود پسینے سے
شرابور ہے۔
وہ سائڈ ٹیبل پر ہاتھ مار کے لیمپ آن کرتی ہے اور
ایک دم اندھیرے میں روشنی پھیل جاتی ہے، اپنے کانپتے ہاتھوں کو قابو کر کے اب وہ کچھ
نارمل ہو چکی تھی۔
دلریز
یہ خواب پچھلے دو سالوں سے دیکھ رہی ہے مگر نہ وہ سکیچ مکمل ہوتا ہے نہ ہی وہ اس شخص
کا چہرہ دیکھ پاتی ہے۔
وہ اس خواب کو یوں ہی سمجھتی رہی، پر دھیرے دھیرے
اکتا نے لگی، تنگ آنے لگی اب اسے اپنے اس خواب سے ڈر لگنے لگا تھا۔

سمجھ نہیں پارہی تھی کہ آخر یہ کیا ہے۔

جب شائستہ اس کے کمرے میں آئی اور زور زور سے چلانے
لگی شائستہ کی آواز پر وہ گڑبڑا کر اٹھ گئی۔
امی Sorry پتہ نہیں آج میں کیسے اس وقت
تک سوئی رہی۔

معافی کا اچار ڈالوں میں، گھر کے سارے کام کون کرے گا اگر تو لیڈ صاحبوں کی طرح سوئی
رہی تو تجھے انات ھاشرم سے ہم کھر میں شو پیس بنا کے رکھنے کو نہیں لائے، سمجھیں ورنا
کون تیرے جیسی عذاب کو گلے کا پھندا بنائے، پتا نہیں کس کی ناجائز اولاد ہو
وہ
اس کو اس کی اوقات یاد کرانی نہ بھولتی۔ چلی گئی
اور
وہ کتنی ہی دیر انکی باتوں پہ الجھتی خود سے لڑتی آخر تھک گئی تو اٹھ کر واش روم کی
طرف روانہ ہوئی۔
