"زونی!"
اس لڑکے کی باریک مگر سحر انگیز آواز گاڑی کے سکوت کو چیرتی ہوئی نکلی۔
"ہمم؟"
زنیرا نے گردن موڑ کر اس کے سپاٹ چہرے کی طرف دیکھا۔
"آج
رات۔۔۔" زین نے بات ادھوری چھوڑ دی۔
کچھ
پل کی بوجھل خاموشی کے بعد زنیرا نے آہستگی سے جواب دیا، "دو دن بعد۔" یہ
کہتے ہوئے اس کے چہرے پر افسردگی کی لہر دوڑ گئی۔
"نیا
شکار مل گیا؟"
زنیرا
نے زین کی آواز پر سر اٹھایا اور اسکی نظروں کا تعاقب کرتے ہوئے ایک لڑکی کو دیکھا،
جو سیاہ برقعے میں خود کو ڈھانپے بوجھل قدموں سے کیفے ٹیریا کی جانب بڑھ رہی تھی۔ زنیرا
نے محسوس کیا کہ اس لڑکی کی نظریں ایک لمحے کے لیے ان دونوں پر ٹھہریں اور پھر فوراً
ہی رخ موڑ کر وہ کاؤنٹر کی طرف چلی گئی۔
زنیرا
کے لبوں پر ایک طنزیہ مسکراہٹ ابھری، "پردے والی ہے زین!"
"اس
کا فگر دیکھو۔۔۔" زین کے ہونٹوں پر ایک شریر اور پراعتماد مسکراہٹ رینگنے لگی۔
"نہیں
آئے گی تمہارے ہاتھ، فی الحال مجھ ہی سے گزارا کرو۔" زنیرا نے کافی کا آخری سپ
لیا اور خالی کپ میز کے نیچے پڑے ڈسٹ بن میں اچھال دیا۔
"جلد
ہی یہ میرے بستر میں ہوگی۔" زین نے ایک بار پھر اس لڑکی کی جانب دیکھا۔ ان دونوں
کی نظریں ٹکرائیں اور اس سے پہلے کہ وہ لڑکی نظریں پھیر پاتی، زین نے کمالِ اداکاری
سے اپنا چہرہ موڑا اور آنکھوں پر ہاتھ رکھ لیا۔
