*سارہ:* کیا سنوں عائشہ؟ کاشف نے جو حرکت کی ہے، اس کے بعد بات کرنے کو بچا ہی کیا ہے؟
*عائشہ:*
میں مانتی ہوں کاشف کی حرکت غلط تھی۔ تمہیں اس پر جتنا غصہ آ رہا ہے، بالکل حق ہے تمہارا۔
*عائشہ:* تو پھر یہ سوچو سارہ۔ جیسے تمہیں آج کاشف کی حرکت پر غصہ آ رہا ہے، اسی طرح زویا کو برا نہیں لگا ہو گا کیا؟
*سارہ:* مطلب؟
*عائشہ:* مطلب یہ کہ... منگنی کے عین اگلے دن تم نے خود کاشف کو اس کا "عاشق" بنا کر بھیج دیا تھا۔
*سارہ:* میں نے؟
*عائشہ:* ہاں تم نے۔ زویا کی منگنی ہوئی تھی۔ سب خوش تھے۔ اور اگلے ہی دن تم نے کاشف کو اس کے سامنے کھڑا کر دیا کہ یہ تمہارا عشق ہے۔
*عائشہ:* تو بتاؤ سارہ، اس وقت زویاکے دل پر کیا گزری ہوگی؟اسی طرح اس کا دل بھی نہیں ٹوٹا ہو گا کیا؟
سارہ ایک دم چپ ہو جاتی ہے۔ اس کے چہرے کا غصہ شرمندگی میں بدل گیا ۔ ۔

کو کہنا کہ دھیان سے استری کرے۔ کوئی نشان نہ پڑے۔

شاباش جاؤ۔

کپڑے سنبھال کر سر ہلاتی ہوئی کمرے سے نکل گئ۔
