"اپنا سرمت ہلانا"۔ آواز دھیمی مگر پریشانی
سے لبریز تھی۔ اس نے فوراً ہی اپنی جیکٹ اتاری اور اسے فولڈ کیا اور گھٹنے کے زخم پر
دبا کر باندھ دیا تاکہ خون رک سکے ۔ اور سر کا زخم جو زیادہ گہرا نہیں تھا۔ اس پر اپنا
رومال باندھ دیا تاکہ گردن کو حرکت زیادہ نہ ملے۔
اس
نے زخمی کی آنکھوں پر ٹارچ سے روشنی ڈالی تو مجبوراً اس نے تھوڑی سی آنکھیں وا کیں۔
وہ اچھا خاصا روشنی ڈالنے پر جھنجلا گیا تھا۔
اس
نے دو انگلیوں سے زخمی کی نبض چیک کی۔ "بلڈ لاس زیادہ ہو رہا ہے، ایمبولینس کا
انتظار نہیں کر سکتے" اس نے خود کلامی کرتے ہوئے فیصلہ کیا۔
وہ
زخمی کی طرف جھکا، ایک اس کی کمر کے گرد رکھ کر اس کو سہارا دے کر گاڑی تک لایا اور
پچھلی سیٹ پر اس کو لٹا دیا۔
اس
ڈرائیونگ سیٹ پر بیٹھ کر ایک نظر پچھلی سیٹ پر اس کو دیکھا جس کی کراہیں اب بند ہو
گئی تھیں اور گاڑی سٹارٹ کی۔ ساتھ ہی نرم لہجے میں زخمی کو اپنی طرف متوجہ کیا۔
"تم
میری بات سن رہے ہونا" اس نے فکر مندی سے پکارا لیکن جواب ندارَد۔
"ہیلو
مسٹر ایکس وائے زی! تم ہوش میں ہونا" اب کی بار وہ ذرا اونچی اور ترش آواز میں
بولا۔
"ہنہ...
زندہ ہوں" وہ مختصر بولا جیسے اسے بولنے میں دشواری ہو رہی ہو۔
"آنکھیں
کھلی رکھنا۔ تمہارے قتل کے جرم کو اپنے سر
لے کر میں سسپینڈ نہیں ہونا چاہتا" وہ لاچاری سے بولا۔
"بے
فکر رہو، میرا آگے پیچھے کوئی نہیں ہے، جو میری وکالت کرے گا" وہ دھیمے لہجے میں
بولا۔
"سنو!
تمہارا ہوش میں رہنا بہت ضروری ہے، میرے سے بات کرتے رہو" وہ پھر بولا۔
"کیا
تم تھوڑی دیر کے لیے خاموش ہو سکتے ہو" وہ صحیح معنوں میں اس سے اکتا گیا تھا۔
