آپ کا صاحبزادہ اٹھ گیا یا آج میلا ہم اکیلے ہی دیکھیں گے؟" حمزہ نے شرارت سے
پوچھا۔
شہناز بیگم ہنس دیں "آ رہا ہے۔ تم بھی نا، صبح صبح اس کے دشمن بن جاتے ہو۔"
تیمور
سیڑھیاں پھلانگتا ہوا نیچے آیا، بال بکھرے ہوئے، قمیض کا ایک بٹن کھلا۔
"جناب،
نواب صاحب کو بھی ناشتے کی دعوت قبول ہے؟" علیشیر خان نے مسکرا کر چھیڑا۔
تیمور کرسی گھسیٹ کر بیٹھتے ہوئے بولا "ابا حضور، بس ایک پراٹھا۔ میلے کی رونق نکل رہی ہے۔"
شہناز
بیگم نے پراٹھا پلیٹ میں رکھا، ساتھ آم کا اچار "پہلے اللہ کا نام لو۔ خالی پیٹ
جاؤ گے تو میلے میں ڈھول کی تھاپ کے ساتھ پیٹ بھی بجے گا۔"
تیمور نے لقمہ توڑ کر کہا "اماں، آپ کے ہاتھ کے پراٹھے کھا کر تو میں جنگ بھی جیت آؤں۔"
علیشیر
خان نے اخبار ایک طرف رکھتے ہوئے تنبیہ کی "جنگ نہ جیتنا بیٹا، بس آج حمزہ سے
لڑائی نہ کرنا۔ پچھلی بار تم دونوں نے کبڈی میں پورا میلہ سر پر اٹھا لیا تھا۔"
"چچا جان، اس بار آپ کا بیٹا شروع کرے گا، ختم میں کروں گا" حمزہ نے ہنستے ہوئے جواب دیا۔
تینوں
ہنس دیے۔ تیمور نے جلدی جلدی ناشتہ کیا، ماں کے ہاتھ چومے اور بھاگا۔
شہناز
بیگم دروازے تک آئیں "دوپہر تک واپس آ جانا۔ میں زردہ بناؤں گی۔"
تیمور
نے مڑ کر کہا "زردے کے لیے تو میں دشمنی بھی بھول جاؤں اماں۔"
