اسی
لمحے حوا ایمن کے قریب آ کر دھیرے سے بولی کبھی کبھی خواب ایک ہی آسمان بانٹتے ہیں،
ایمن۔ تم یہاں جاگی ہو، اور شاید وہ... وہاں، اسی لمحے چونکا ہو۔"
ایمن
نے حیرت سے حوا کی طرف دیکھا۔
تمہیں کیسے پتا؟"
حوا
نے بس اتنا کہا:
کیونکہ
میں خوابوں کے درمیان رہتی ہوں۔
اور
کھڑکی کے باہر بارش تیز ہو گئی ۔
جیسے کوئی پرانی بات ایک بار پھر دلوں میں گونجنے لگی ہو۔
رات کے تیسرے پہر کی خاموشی میں ایمن جاگ رہی تھی۔
کھڑکی کے پاس رکھی میز پر ایک موم بتی کی روشنی جھلک رہی تھی جس کے شعلے میں کمرے کے سائے جیسے سانس لے رہے تھے۔
نیند کہیں کھو گئی تھی - جیسے اس نے بھی ایمن کی تنہائی کا احترام کر لیا ہو۔
میز پر ایک پرانی ڈائری کھلی تھی، اور اس کے بیچ ایک کاغذ دبا ہوا۔
ایمن نے وہ کاغذ نکالا .
لکھائی اب بھی مانوس تھی، جیسے دل کی کسی پرانی دھڑکن سے جانی پہچانی۔
زندگی شاید مکمل ہونے کے لیے نہیں، جینے کے لیے ہوتی ہے۔
کبھی کبھی خواب ادھورے ہی مکمل لگتے ہیں۔"
یہ ابراز کی تحریر تھی۔
پرانی مگر لفظ آج بھی سانس لے رہے تھے۔
ایمن کے ہاتھ کانپ گئے۔
اس
کے ذہن میں جیسے ایک مانوس چہرہ ابھرا - وہی گہری آنکھیں، وہی خاموش لہجہ وہی نگاہ
جو کبھی لفظوں سے زیادہ بولتی تھی۔
"حوا..." وہ دھیرے سے پکاری
حوا وراً کمرے میں آئی، چہرے پر فکر۔ کیا ہوا ایمن؟ نیند نہیں آئی پھر سے؟"
ایمن نے کاغذ بڑھا دیا۔
یہ دیکھو... یہ ابراز کا ہے۔ پتہ نہیں کب رکھا تھا میں نے ... آج اچانک ہاتھ لگ گیا۔
حوا نے وہ خط دیکھا، پھر آہستگی سے کہا:
کچھ
خواب وقت نہیں توڑتا ایمن۔ وہ دل میں زندہ رہتے ہیں، بس لوگ بھول جاتے ہیں کہ وہ اب
بھی سانس لے رہے ہیں۔
