دم سے گھبرا کے اس کی آنکھ کھلی۔۔
وہ
پورا پسینے میں بھیگا ہوا تھا۔۔ ہاتھ پاؤں کانپ رہے تھے۔۔ گلے سے آواز نہیں نکل رہی
تھی ۔

چیخ اندر ہی کہیں دب کر رہ گئی ہو۔۔ کمرے میں گھوپ اندھیرا چھایا ہوا تھا۔۔ اس نے کانپتے
ہاتھ سے سائیڈ ٹیبل کی طرف ہاتھ بڑھایا ۔۔ بٹن دبا کر لیمپ اون کیا تب جاکر کمرے میں
تھوڑی روشنی ہوئی ۔۔ مگر اندر کا اندھیرا اس کا کیا..؟

نے سامنے دیوار پر لگی گھڑی کی طرف دیکھا ۔۔
ساڑھے
تین بج رہے تھے ۔۔
آہ۔۔
یہ خواب۔۔ یہ خوفناک، ڈراؤنا خواب ۔۔

نے اپنے اوپر سے کمبل ہٹایا، سائیڈ ٹیبل سے گلاس
اٹھایا،
پانی ڈالا اور ایک ہی سانس میں سارا پی گیا ۔۔
مگر
جب کچھ بہتر نہ لگا تو وہ بیڈ سے اٹھا اور چلتا ہوا
بالکونی
کے دروازے تک آیا اسے کھولا تو باہر بالکل
گھوپ
خاموشی تھی ۔۔۔ بس تیز ہوا کی سرسراہٹ ۔۔۔!
اس
نے خالی آنکھوں سے آسمان کی طرف دیکھا۔۔
دس
سال ۔۔ دس سال ہو گئے اس حادثہ کو۔۔ دس سال سے یہ خواب میری جان نہیں چھوڑ رہا۔۔ آخر
یہ ماضی انسان کا
پیچھا کیوں نہیں چھوڑتا ؟۔ کیوں اس کے ساتھ ایک کالے سائے کی طرح چپکا رہتا ہے کیوں
